The good
- Their Budget range is the cheapest I've found: $1 per gigabyte.
- Unlimited slots even on small plans.
- Monthly billing with no lock-in.
The catches
- The Budget range doesn't include automatic backups: those come with the Premium plan. That's what you're paying less for.
- The hardware is more modest — a Ryzen 7 5700X and DDR4 at 2133 MHz — and it shows with big modpacks.
- Moving up to Premium doubles the per-gigabyte price: from $1 to $2.25.
Verdict
For small servers without mods it's probably the best value there is. But remember the backups: if your world matters, either go Premium or back it up by hand. And once you need lots of gigabytes the maths flips, because it charges per GB with no cap.
